I bought these bowls at our local second hand store. They were priced at $1.75 each but the store was having a 50% off sale. I bought the five they had and spent a total of $4.38.
They were in rough shape. The bottoms were covered in a layer of grease. ( eeeww ) I sat outside with some sandpaper and gave them a good sanding.
After washing and drying it was paint time.
My favorite!
Solid primary colors work best for me
A liner brush and some loteria game boards added some festive elements to the bowls.
A couple coats of varnish and they are done.
Aren't they cute?
You are an amazing artist, they are beautiful!
